In particular, the students fully planned and managed the sixth café, and were completely responsible for running it. According to their self-assessment documents, they were able to improve the following abilities and skills: “A-4 communication skills”, “A-5 collaboration skills”, “C-5 public health nursing management”, and “D-3 basic knowledge/skills required to provide support for individuals/families - the smallest unit in the community” - assessment items of the Public Health Nursing Education Model Core Curriculum. Following an evaluation meeting, the students were able to review “A-1 professionalism”, “A-2 knowledge of public health nursing and skills required to address problems”, and “A-3 skills required to implement public health nursing”, and confirmed that they had learned the “A basic qualifications/abilities required for public health nurses”.
