The results also clarified the circumstances that had led to the closing of the school in July 1951 before realizing the idea of 3-year vocational schools based on a bill concerning public health nurses, mainly proposed by the General Headquarters (GHQ), despite similarities between this and the 3-year Women’s Health and Welfare School of Hirosaki and recommendation of its foundation as a base in the Chugoku and Shikoku areas by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
