The conceptual analysis method described by Walker & Avant was used for the analysis. The following attributes of the concept were extracted: [being there to help them live a life with dignity], [making arrangement for daily living], [supporting prevention of and recovery from illness in a manner that suits each person], [providing a safe and comfortable environment], and [making adjustments in building a support system]. The antecedents identified were: [having an attitude of respecting previous lives of the person and his/her family], [understanding the person], [improving physical functioning], [being involved in a reassuring way], and [collaborating in a multi-professional]. The consequences were: [acquiring independent daily life], [recovering in the condition], [maintaining the life], [improving QOL], and [dying in a way he/she wishes].
