This research was aimed at identifying significant point on midwifery diagnosis and skills by verbalizing midwifery practice. A qualitative, descriptive research designwas used. An experienced community midwife was asked to describe the most impressive case she had experienced for the last 40 years. Analysis was done in three aspects based on Orlando's(1972)\"Nursing process record\": \"The community midwife's perception of or about the woman in childbed and family,\" \"The community midwife's thoughts and/or feeling about perception,\" and \"What the community midwife said and/or did to, with,or for the woman in childbed and family\".The case described was a primipara in her thirties who had a disklike part which stood out from her lower abdomen at the second birth term,and premature separation of the implanted placenta was suspected.
