本研究では、認知症者とその家族の視点から医療機関および従事する専門職に求められる機能や役割を明らかにすることを目的とし、医療機関に対する認知症者とその家族のニーズについて記載された文献の内容の整理・統合を行った。文献の収集は、医学中央雑誌Web版等の検索システムを用い、‘認知症’‘医療機関’‘思い’等の26語を組み合わせて行った。設定した3つの選定基準に該当した7編の文献を基に分析を行った結果、認知症者とその家族のニーズは、【医療機関の診療体制】【医師の能力・知識】【医師の態度・姿勢】【医療スタッフの支援体制】【医療と福祉の連携】【認知症医療の現状と課題】の6つのコア・カテゴリーに類型化された。今後は、本研究で確認された医療機関に対する認知症者とその家族のニーズが母集団を反映したものであるか否かを確認することが課題である。 |

This study aimed to determine the functions and roles of healthcare professionals required in healthcare settings from the perspective of patients with dementia and their families. A literature review of several studies reporting the needs of patients with dementia and their families was conducted. Papers were identified by combining 26 words, for example, “dementia,” “healthcare settings,” and “feelings,” using academic journal databases (Ichushi, etc.). Seven papers met the three selection criteria. The needs of patients with dementia and their families were classified into six groups: medical care system in healthcare settings; doctors’ ability and knowledge; doctors’ attitude; support system from healthcare professionals; collaborations between medical care and social service; current situation of dementia medicine; and other associated problems. Additional studies should be conducted to confirm whether the needs of patients with dementia and their families in healthcare settings identified in this study are the same as those of the general population. |
